This API has been superseded by our new gateway interface. The new interface also support JSON and XML requests.

The HTTP API is implemented by using standard HTTP GET and POST (preferred) requests for sending and receiving messages to and from end users. The interface is designed in order to allow a simple and robust implementation regardless of which platform the Content Provider decide to implements their solutions.

Advantages of using this API include:

  • Supports both text and binary messages.
  • Supports bulk and premium rate messages.
  • Easy to integrate with your own solutions. Most programming languages have an API for making HTTP requests.
  • Text messages containing non-GSM characters will be sent as Unicode (UCS2).
